2021 Lincoln Corsair
The 2021 Lincoln Corsair, quiet luxury
At Lincoln, the personality of the vehicle blends with that of the driver. Our vehicles offer comfort and driving pleasure in a sophisticated environment, and that’s exactly what the Lincoln Corsair provides. Despite being the smallest of the line, it still offers an atmosphere of quiet luxury.
The 2021 Corsair continues to build on this success. It offers a smooth ride and modern styling that follows the same path as the great Navigator. It also boasts power with its various engines and will be among the most economical in its class, as it will offer a refined plug-in hybrid version later this year.
Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring PHEV
This will probably be the new star of the family. This vehicle features a powertrain consisting of a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine coupled to an electric motor, a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and standard all-wheel drive.
In addition to offering more power, this combination will provide a 100% electric range of over 40 kilometers and a combined output of 266 horsepower. But that’s obviously only part of the powertrain offered by the Lincoln Corsair, which still has two other traditional gasoline-powered variants.
The 2021 Corsair comes with your choice of a 2.0-litre 250-horsepower engine or a 2.3-litre 280- horsepower engine and both engines are equipped with an all-wheel drive, eight-speed automatic transmission. Performance enthusiasts won’t be disappointed, either, as the 2.3-litre version reaches 100 km/h in only 6.1 seconds.
At Lincoln, we are committed to creating interiors that are true sanctuaries. They offer comfort with quality materials in a modern environment designed to meet the highest standards. And That goes for both the largest utility vehicles and the small Corsair; you can count on a top-of- the-line interior, offering a supple leather finish in the most sought-after colours.
The adjustable ambient lighting, 24-way power-adjustable seats, a heads-up display and an app that allows users to unlock, lock and start the vehicle with their smartphone are all available. An optional premium Revel audio system and full smartphone compatibility is available, in addition to an 8.0-inch multimedia display and 12.3-inch console display to make all driving and entertainment information accessible.
The interior is surprisingly spacious despite the vehicle’s size, placing it within the category leaders in this regard. Cargo space is also above average; it can hold up to 780 litres of cargo.
The Corsair is also not neglecting its work capacity; it is well equipped to tow up to 3,000 pounds.
Safe, the Corsair
The Lincoln Corsair is more than pretty; it is also very safe. It received the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) highest safety rating of five stars in 2020, and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has named it one of the top safety choices for 2020. Having said that, the Corsair comes standard with the CoPilot360 system, with the optional CoPilot30 Plus version available.
With this system, the Corsair has a full range of driving aids, including standard lane departure warning with lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and brake assist.
The Lincoln Corsair combines the luxury and comfort of Lincoln in a dimensionally appealing package.
